You take the cost of the item and add a percentage markup. In payment processing, it means you take the standard wholesale cost (i.e <a href=\"https:\/\/trc-parus.ru\/blog\/what-is-interchange\/\">interchange<\/a>) from the card brands (i.e. Visa, MasterCard, etc) and add a percentage fee by the payment processor (i.e. TRC-Parus) for providing card processing services.<\/p>\n<p>If you have a rate of interchange plus 20, that would mean you pay the base\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/trc-parus.ru\/resources\/faq\/\">interchange rates<\/a>\u00a0with a 20\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/trc-parus.ru\/blog\/what-are-basis-points\/\">basis point<\/a>\u00a0(or 0.2%) service charge on top.
